Simply WOW! There's a lot there to love. :-)

Very nice Mauvegirl. I do miss gardening in a warmer zone. I was out in my yardin yesterday raking up the wrack of winter and doing some early pruning. Many of my roses are pruned to the ground as usual.

I'd love to show some flowerlicious photos, but all you'd see is mounds of mulch, wet leaves and lawn thatch. Sigh!!! But thanks for sharing your garden delights.

Your Madame Isaac Periere is gorgeous and I remember her having a fabuous scent. She's much too tender for me here though. I miss my Bourbon roses very much.

    Cheers, Rick

Thank you! Spring is here. Everyone needs sunshine!

My lime tree, Crepe Myrtles, & a young peach tree are leafing out beautifully.

Very inspirational, Mauvegirl! Madame Isaac P. is awesome... even in the pot. Thanks for pic.

I had a purple buddleia bush one time. It got big, then got killed by the winter. Butterfly bush can get 3 feet wide, even with zone 5a yearly die-back to the crown.

Good for you Mauvegirl. Have fun!

That's going to be wonderful when they all knit together. Good thing you put a rose in that can hold her own against the buddleias.

This is my front yard from about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately it has gotten hot here and the roses are starting to fade some. Ick, the heat...

I love your pic., Jasper! What a beautiful sight. I can see why my neighbor put up a "For Sale" sign ... she plans to move to Arizona. Here in Chicagoland we are still in the low 30's. My roses like Annie L. McDowell dies back to 3 inches of green stems.

Gorgeous, Mauvegirl! Everything looks so healthy and green and lovely.

Wow, Jasper, that entry is stunning!

Love that Buddleia! I have "Black Knight" which isn't that dark in full sun. This is a beautiful color. Garden is just lovely!

I'd love love love to grow Buddleia but all of mine have died in the summer. However, I have seen some make it during the summer so am not sure what I am doing wrong. I love to attract butterflies.

I have managed to establish 2 or 3 clematis in my garden, which I love. Generally they don't like hot weather but if you pamper them and keep their roots in the shade I've been able to grow the. I love clematis.

Here's a picture of one that is growing as a bush form; have not been able to get it to climb. I'd love to get it climb into the tree behind it. Sorry about the quality of the picture; my camera is not the greatest.
