you can but don't let the self-proclaimed safety police on this forum know about it, or there WILL BE a lengthy rant to follow on the perils and senselessness of disconnecting a safety feature. And WE DON'T WANT THAT!!! Trust me!

Its your seat switch. Could be loose connector or maybe its not properly mounted into the seat. I BYPASSED mine. Yes that's right. F*** safety and the safety police. Just connect the two leads together to make it think your butt is pressing the button.

Awesome you figured it out! Who knows what the dealer would have charged to figure it out for you. Only a few shames for me? The safety police must be on vacation.

I am not a member of the safety police, but I do believe the seat switch it necessary and makes sense.

Now the "mow in reverse" button/lever is an entirely different story and should be immediately disconnected in my oppinion. Who wants to grab a knob in front of you when you should be concentrating on what is behind you while backing up a tractor? Just doesn't make sense (or save lives).
