I'm trying to decide which trimmer to get (I just returned a 31cc straight shaft Troy Built - you guessed it, the motor imploded). I'm considering an Echo GT200R (one is avilable at HDepot reconditioned for $110) or a Husqvarna 125c ($130). Both are curved shaft (I think the Husqv is longer though?? I am 6' but the Echo didn't feel too short.
I have a rather modest yard, only one bush to cut beneath, although I do have a tendancy to let the grass grow out. But I just want a good quality, reliable trimmer, that will last.
I'm a little worried that the Echo (being reconditioned) doesn't come with the 5 year warranty - but if they are as good as everyone says they are, should I be?? Should I consider the SRM-210? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks, Justin
