My Rainbird system is experiencing something very interesting. I have 6 stations. A few weeks ago, I noticed the controller said "PR Off". I checked and the fuse was blown. I replaced it and noticed it had blown again. I did some tests on it and here is what I found:
I opened each solenoid and that station worked fine. I went to the controller and manually advanced through all the stations. No problems. I set it up to run automatically for 2 minutes on each station and watched as each station come on. The first 5 stations worked fine. When it was time for the 6th station, the fuse blew again. I assume my test concludes that the solenoids are fine. Could it be a faulty controller? Any advice would be helpful.
