Busted chipper/shredder

I have a Duerr chipper/shredder and it "was" great for mulching yard waste,but the chipping head is coming apart.I found out that the company that makes it is out of business.I'm looking for anyone who has used parts or would like to get rid of an old Duerr Chipper. I dont know if a machine shop could fix it. Can anyone help me out?

Only way to find out is take it to a good welding shop, and see if they have the brains to figure out how to fix it.
In this area, we have some very good welding shops that fix that kind of stuff every day!

I was given a Duerr chipper/shredder with the 5hp B&S engine a couple of years ago. Don't have any manuals for it but i got it running and use it to shred leaves to put on the garden. Seems as though it's built pretty solid. Have never used it for chipping as i have a larger unit for limbs and such. Like Rusty said maybe you can find a good welder that can repair it. Good luck.
