i purchased a house with a well point installed the point was plugged so i removed it (what a job)there is a 14x14 in.section of concrete cut out with standing water in it.i drove the new point 4ft.stainless down to the same depth as the old one(12ft.)the soil here is sand i used a small flotec pump with a garden hose to see how much water it would draw i get about 2 quarts of muddy water then it goes dry.i looked at the brady site but that does not help me much.how do you know when you have reached the proper depth before i start pumping the pipe is full of water i am using 1/1/4 pipe.also what is the easiest method to remove a well point. Frustrated in NY
