I have several container plants on & around my patio. I have set up an automatic watering system on one of my irrigation zones. The pots drain well but problem is thay drain right out into my beds directly next to the patio. These beds are already being watered on a regulat basis so this water runoff from the containers being watered is causing them to get too much water. This year I added the little crystals to my soil mix in the pots to hold more moisture in. Now I need to know how often & how long I need to water them.
