Aloha

Unfortunately, the 'SMRT-Y Soil Moisture Sensor Kit' is not currently available for purchase according to the rainbird website.

You can get dripper irrigation kits here: http://www.sprinklersystemstore.com/c-109-drip-irrigation-kits.aspx and set it up on an automatic timer quite easily.

Here is a link that might be useful: automatic drip timers

Those controllers use timers which turn on water regardless of the plants dryness. My town has water bans every summer and I need to conserve water.

You may be able to find the 'SMRT-Y Soil Moisture Sensor Kit' at a local store like Lowe's or Home Depot. Maybe even on Amazon or eBay.

I heard about a new product called Garden Eye at ecosensesystems.com. Has anyone tried it?

drip,

Sounds good. Almost too good. More than just a soil sensor though. Aloha
