We bought a house last year that has one zone that won't turn off this spring. The house was built-in 1978 and no idea when the sprinklers were added. I'm pretty sure the diaphragm is bad since it won't shut-off and when I pulled the top of the valve to check for debris I found nothing. Also the rubber easily rubs off black onto my hands.

Now the problem is I can't figure out who makes this valve. The only markings I can find on it are D07 but that looks more like an inked on lot number or something instead of a model number. It is a 1" valve, it has a removable solenoid, bleeder valve and manual activation handle. The top is screwed on with 8 Phillips screws with four screws on a side, going through a flat metal plate.

From pictures I can find it kind of looks like an Irritrol 205. But when I looked at images of the diaphragm it didn't match. The other difference is the handle on my valve looks like a cross with four pieces sticking out, all of the Irritrol pictures I can find have round handles.

I'm just about to the point where I'm going to cut out this valve and put in a new rainbird, though I'd rather just replace the diaphragm if I can.
