I have a 1" rainbird valve that I have been working with for a few days now. IT has been leaking for about 2 weeks. I have a small amount of water coming out of the sprinklers when the system is turned off. I have replaced the diaphragm and solenoid valve with no luck. I have even swapped all the parts from a neighboring working valve and the problem valve still leaks. I have run out of ideas. Any one have any to share.

I really do not want to replace the whole valve as it would be a major undertaking.
