New member here. I found this site while google-ing soaker hoses.

The retailers are selling two types of soaker hoses and I cannot tell which one forum members are referring to.

One type is made of re-cycled rubber and drips REAL slow. The other is flat and has hundreds of pin holes in it. face up it sprinkles and face down it soaks, but at a high water-flow rate.

Is the flat-type soaker any good? Seems to go against the idea of slow soaking, but the alternative is VERY slow.
