A relative of mine had some 3/4" plastic hose in his garage, he bought this at a garage sale about 20 years ago. I'm not kidding, he probably has 700-800 feet of this stuff.

I recently made some custom length garden hoses for my yard. This plastic hose is particularly stiff which I like because it will never kink on you. The consequence of this is a hose that is sometimes TOO stiff to manage. Rolling it up is sometimes extremely hard to do. Does anyone have any tips on how to "soften" up the hose? Or will it soften up over time from regular use?
