Any sensor is worth it--will save you money ("pay for itself") and your lawn from getting water it does not need. You won't have to worry about going to the controller and manually turning it off and on after rain. In my opinion, fancier sensors are not necessary. Many go off of weather data history and current weather schedules--which will alter your program whenever the sensor wants. The Rain-clik should be sufficient for you.
