Driving a point

20 years ago

I was wondering if anyone can give me any tips on driving a point?

I live next to a swamp. I will be driving the point on a grade about 5 feet above the water level about 40 feet from the water. How deep do I need to go to hit water. I want to run a irrigation system with this. Is this possible.
