broken plastic gas line fitting

On a 8HP Briggs the plastic 90 fitting for the

gas line on the Carb. cracked . What is left is a

brass stub that looks like it is pressed in , it

is a little short to fasten a hose to it.

What is the best way to fix this ? Is there a

repair kit?

A drill bit that will almost go in the fitting will bring the remaining stub out. You can then buy a replacement. Forget how much they are, highway robbery as all small engine parts are.

Thank you for the information,I will remove the
rest of the fitting tomorrow and try and get
parts on Monday.
