The babies are growing well. All but the 2 in ginger jar type pots and the square pot next to them are seedlings. Their caudexes are fattening up after I cut them back in the spring. Hopefully more then 2 will be something other then single pinks. none of these have bloomed so far. I had older seedlings that have already bloomed and out of those only 2 weren't single pinks. One had a pink picotee type edge and the other was white with a center pink stripe.

Karyn, these are not babies. They are big beautiful plants.
With the cut in the spring made the caudexes look very very good.

Marie those are all 2-3 years old. The difference after cutting them back is significant. I was holding off on pruning because I wanted to wait and see what the bloom color was but they'd gotten so lanky I just couldn't look at them any longer. I think I might have posted a picture of them from before they were cut back, not sure. I'm really pleased with the caudexes on many of them. Even if those turn out to be pink I'll keep them for grafting.
