Hi Vickie, welcome! I am in Fort Myers and yes, mine do go dormant if the nights get down around and below 50 for long. Just make sure not to water much below 60 and not much at all if dormant and no growth. I bring mine in if it hits below 50 for more than a night or two. Sometimes that happens for a week or two, sometimes only a day or two all winter. My leaves usually do fall off when it gets consistently cold, and a lot are yellowing and falling off now. Started after the hellacious rains all day everyday for a week and we had those low 60's nights.
