Hey Tish & welcome to Winter-Sowing! Yes, it's really pretty easy & you can use those Jiffy peat pellets. I've had good luck with those when I place them in one of the containers(milk jug,doughnut box,etc.),with drainage holes & ventilation holes too, of course.I have also found that they don't dry out nearly as quick if I pack soil around them in the container. They do dry out real fast if you don't. I love to use them for Hardy Hibiscus seeds. When they're large enough you can just plop them in the ground with very little root disturbance. Thanks so much Donna! I'm glad to know that I can use them. I had already started buying them and would hate to waste them. I think I will start stocking up on my potting soil though. I'm going to need a lot I think!! :-)
