New Winter Sower Here

Hi all! I'm going to give winter sowing an all out effort this year. I wanted to do it last year and just didn't get to do it.

Anyway, I'm in zone 7 in North Texas. I'm in my first home now and have just gone nuts with gardening. I'm going to be working on getting the trees and shrubs that I want planted this year. There are also a lot of plant swaps in my area. The one I went to in the fall really helped me get my plant collection going:-) Now it's just up to wintersowing to help me round everything out!

I'll probably be asking a few questions from time to time. I'm a little nervous about how this is going to work out in my area. Our winters here are unpredictable. We could have a week of really warm weather and then a week of really cold weather. Rinse and repeat. So my concern is that my poor seedlings will pop up in their tray during a warm spell and then freeze to death. BUT I suppose if it doesn't work, try try again.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself!
