If you look in our FAQs you'll find SEVERAL lists, including annuals.

There are many, MANY annuals that can be WinterSown.

Trudi

Hi Michelle!!

I winter sow all my annuals just like the perennials. The only thing I do differently is that I do the perennials first and then the annuals. That means that I don't usually do the annuals until March but it is still plenty cold then. My last date for frost is usually in early May.

Joann

I do the same as Joann, starting annuals in March and April. By then the weather is so warm that most annuals will germinate within days. I have just avoided doing tropical type ones because their days from seed to bloom tends to be almost as long as my growing season. But most do very well.
