My seeds are here

3 out of the 4 bunches of seeds I ordered on New Years Eve are here already - the ones from Cheap Seeds, Dianes and Pinetree. Just waiting on the Swallowtail seeds. All of the websites had a space for comments so I added a note to my order saying that I am winter sowing and please ship ASAP. I don't know if they're always this fast or the note made a difference - but what I do know is I'm sowing seeds tomorrow. Today I am finishing a rustic arbor that I am building from small logs and branches that I will be training a climbing iceberg rose and a clematis yet to be determined on.

Lucky you! I ordered from Hazzard's on NYE and expect mine to arrive any day now. Diane has always shipped fast. I'm still mulling my order from her. The only seeds I ordered from Hazzard's that need cold stratification are penstemon but there's still plenty of cold weather ahead for those. I got plenty of tree, shrub and other seeds via trading so I've been WS those since the solstice. Hit my goal of six jugs of cardinal flower yesterday.

I'm going to use mostly older seeds that I have. I did order a few small packs from Pinetree and Swallowtail a few days ago. I haven't started WSing yet, but hopefully I'll do a few jugs this week.
