Value Seeds

To the person who rec. Value Seeds, you had to do it didn't you? LOL

I ordered 5 packages and my whole order only came to under $7.00.

I am so excited. Something to look forward to.

I have been so forlorn worrying about my friend in Gaza (Palestine), nothing could take my mind off her.

For a few minutes looking at the pics of the beautiful flowers I will have, I was in a good place.

thanks!

The bad thing is that Value Seed sends email updates of their seed lists. Yesterday my order came to just under $20, but I don't smoke so I can justify spending money on seeds.

Yup, they sent me an email. Just bought about $20 worth right before Xmas!

I've already purchased from value seeds twice this year. I'll wait until their page count is above 13 again. :)

    ENABLERS!!!!!!

Damn, now I have to go to their site.

trudi, I didn't get an email either. II don't get them from T&M either, despite signing up repeatedly and confirming on the phone I'm signed up. I don't know why they don't send me eamils, because heaven knows I'm funding the retirement plan.

I've sown two packs of the dianthus albus. It's gorgeous. I got the dusty miller earlier this fall. I still had one plant that I bought this spring from Lowes alive in the front bed. I pulled it out when I finally reworked the soil a couple weeks ago. I had to get a bunch of roots out of there so I could fill it with wintersown flowers this spring. :)

Why did I have to go have a look? I have more seeds then I can keep track of now! But I just had to look and I developed a case of onemoreclickitus. Now my Visa has been dinged for over $25. I have just got to stop doing that. Someone here is an enabler! Shame.

ohhhh, who should I send the bill to ?? Shouldnt you be required to take our bills when you make posts like this..I just swore I wasnt gonna order any seeds this spring, have too many now....

I am gonna resist the temptation, and go and read the rest of the posts I have been missing, sure hope it works...

If not......LOL ( Ill know who to blame...tee hee)

I have had good luck growing their seeds BTW..they are the surplus of the seeds from T and M ( I hope I have the right company) So they are good seeds !

Ok, who is next....go on...you know you have to look..

I ordered all three of these! I can't wait to get them! I already have their containers filled, just waiting! I have resorted to water bottles and have figured out how to use my window boxes as mini cold frames. I swear... I just can't stop! Although now that I think about it... seed & soil is cheaper than medication... ;)

    Dusty Miller
    Pulsatilla Red Cloak
    Dianthus albus

    Bought on January 7, 2009:

    Hellebore Winter Flowering @ 0.99
Monkey Flower Shade Loving Hybrids @ 0.99
    Night Phlox @ 0.99
    Catananche Cupid\'s Dart Bicolor @ 0.99
    Pulsatilla Red Cloak @ 0.99
Evening Primrose Pink Petticoats @ 0.79

Apart from the Pulsatilla (which it seems to be germinating now) and the Hellebores seeds which are still in their containers and have just finished the cold stratification, all the other seeds germinated super fast and I would say 100% of germination.

I really suggest you buy their Monkey Flowers because they are blooming right now and they are more than spectacular!

for those who (like me) thought there was something new, different & exciting over at VS, rino got us all worked up for nothing ;)

I've never tried monkey flowers, rino...what's the bot name of those? Can't remember if I sowed any, or if I even have any. Thanks for the recommendation; always looking for something new to try. Will add it to next year's list (unless they are quick germinators...in which case, maybe I'll do them this year...NO! NO, I will NOT sow any more containers! (Yes you will) No, I won't!...
