A good time to plant if you're alert in the early am. Those all sound good, don't have any scabiosas planned but was trying to decide what to sow next and came across part of an old pack of echinacea, decided to skip that for now. Have WS'ed some of those other ones but not the same varieties.

Sorry you're having to do so much running, hope your hubby's surgery worked (let's think positive).

Do you get scads of containers ready? I did a bunch but now am being slowed down by having to burn drainage holes and prepare containers. At least I still have plenty of stuff on hand except potting soil. It's going faster than I thought to do the full 3" which I decided I'd better do.

I haven't gotten to play in the dirt for about a week and finally got my english daisy and carnations planted. I thought carnations were an annual? but the package says perennial. Good job on getting some done today. I hope your DHs rehab goes well.

Good for you...

I am out of soil but asked for it for my Birthday. Then I am going to sow till all my containers and soil is gone again!

My potting mix is still waiting for me to get some energy to finish sowing my perennials. Maybe I'll get some more done tonight.

Here's what I got accomplished last night :Rubeckia Indian Summer, Sweet William, and Rose Campion. Running out of energy after almost 2 weeks of going back and forth to hospital and rehab to visit my husband. I'll get some relief today if it snows or ices up, as I am staying home.
