Anyone use MG Nursery Select?

I stopped by my usual garden place to pick up some bags of MG potting mix for a program I'm doing Thursday night. *After* I paid and drove down to the pick-up point, the man told me they didn't have any MG (argghh!) and only had this new MG Nursery Select. I stood in the 14-degree weather reading the bag, but could not see where it was much different than "regular" MG. It said it helped with moisture, but was *not* the moisture-control type. It also referred to having coir in it. The bags are out in my trunk now and I refuse to go read them more closely since it is now down to about 8 degrees, lol.

I must say it was tempting - it was a brand-new, full pallet, and at least half the bags were ripped open - I'm talking about the bags being half gone and the soil only being there because it was frozen in the shape of the bag, lol. The man told me they have a new guy and he did a bit of damage with the pallet loader, lol. If I didn't have hockey equipment bags in my trunk, I probably could have gotten a pretty darn good deal!

They had no seeds either (not a good day for me, lol!) so I may have to go back tomorrow (seeds came in today, but not on display yet). If I do go back, I will definitely go with an empty trunk (and some garbage bags)! I usually use ProMix myself, but at 50% off, I may just use MG this year!

Just wondering if anyone has used this new MG. I'm sure it will be fine, and I'm not overly concerned. It's just that I'm teaching this class on WSing and now this is somewhat of an unknown factor.

:)
