I need a cheap machine to mow a 4 acre pasture. It's rough land with small creeks, a mix of grasses including fescue plus tall weeds, some good slopes (up to 30 degrees)and surrounded by trees but at least there are no rocks.

I've used a Bachtold for 20 years but it finally died and I'm getting too old to operate it anyway. I used to cut it once or twice a year but it needs to be done ~monthly to bring it back to good grazing.

Everyone I talk to argues about zeroturn vs trailmower vs tractor... I've actually been looking at a Farmall Cub with a belly mower for $1500, but I'd be surprised if it could deal with the now 5 foot tall weeds!?
