My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The furniture is from Pottery Barn. I believe the line is the Chesapeake Collection. I think it is still avilable.

    The ceiling is 8'-0" high. There is a 4" step down from the house floor to the porch floor.

    There was no special treatment at the step. A 2" to 4" step down onto a porch or deck is not that out of the ordinary. There is a clear delineation between spaces, so stepping in between the house and porch is quite natural.
