basically, do trailers require more work than single crowned varieties?

i would think they would be easier because you don't have to remove suckers...but i've been doing a little bit of reading, and have come across something about "training". as always, i come here, as there is so much conflicting info out there, and it's just easier to get direct answers from people! thanks a bunch!
