I know I'm going to sound crazy, lol Like you all would notice:)

But I'm on my 4th bale of peat. It too cold to mix out side so here's what I've been doing.lol.

I have an olive barrel, about the same size as a 30g garbage can, But it has a 2 part screw on lid. A lid and a screw on lip thing. 1st I put a 3ft 4" by 1" board in the barrel then I do layer after layer of peat, perlite and 1/3rd cups of slow released fert (total). and a 1/8th cup (total) of bone meal, to balance out the peat. I layer all the way to the top,I can fit 1 bale of peal and 4 bags of perlite., sweep up the mess and toss that in too. Secure the lid and roll it around the kitchen and dining room. Yeah, it's a sight lol. But nobody's home ...usually.lol

I wet it in a pot or dish pan as I sow.

So fellow make your own mixers...How are you doing it?
