Fading leaves

Hope someone can help me on this one: One of my "prize" AVs sits in a corner window with a east/north exposure, this plant is one of the best flowering AVs I have ever had, but suddenly, the bottom leaves are turning a pale green while the top leaves are a really rich dark green. No I don't know it's name...I call it Beauty ;>D...What's happening to it?? Any ideas?

Hi,
It sounds to me like the normal aging process. Most AV's eventually lose thier bottom leaves. I also think you plant may need repotting.

Thank you....I was afraid of that, it is in full bloom and has stayed that way for six weeks now, I would hate to "mess up" and lose this one.
