did you chk for sheared flywheel key..?

I have not took off the flywheel,I check the magnet on the flywheel with the coil at top dead center,and it line up,with both valves closed.I will take off the flywheel and check the keyway.Thanks rcbe.

You don't have to remove the flywheel to check the key, just the fastener. 100 ' pounds is the torque with the stock aluminum key.

Check the key carefully...the conditions you mention are usually from a sheared key...Good luck
