I found that design on the internet last summer. I spent an entire day figuring out that confusing step. Your illustrations are much better. I just made one this morning. I've made hundreds but haven't used any :) I just enjoy making them.

Thanks for doing the stills, I was so disappointed when the other sight (geocities discontinued service) went offline. The video I found is alright, but I definitely prefer the stills.
I'm one of those that do not favor the wrapped or rolled kind, partially because I cannot get them off of what I wrapped them around, but mostly I like that the oragami pots because they can be stored flattened and be opened when ready to use.
