pruning radio times

I could not resist. A friend of ours is going out of the 'rose' business and has a bunch of odds and ends, most of which are single, once blooming, and climbers. BUT I managed to score a Radio Times for next to nothing. It is grafted, in a 2-gallon pot. The roots were actually coming out of the bottom of the pot and reaching into the soil where all the pots were sitting. I lifted it and it tore away a bit. (AACK!)

It looks not too bad considering they have been more or less put on 'ignore' mode, hopefully a testament to the toughness of this guy. There seems to be no shoots coming from the roots, all from above the graft. ANYWAY, should I be pruning this guy at all, a clean up, a shaping, anything? It is not overly tall either, only about 12". A few smaller holes in the leaves, no critters that I can see and no fungus-y issues. New growth is also clearly evident and a bud or two are developing. Do I leave it alone and just repot it into the 24" pot I have for it?
