You can find the black and white trays at most nursery centers. They are 22 inches by 11 inches. They are both good and bad.

The bad part is that some are made out of such cheap plastic it will not last much longer than a year. At least they are not too expensive.

They develop tiny holes in the corners or some will crack with age.

I have purchased a very expensive Permanest tray of the same size, light green. These are made of very thick plastic. I have had some for 20 years. When they do crack from age they crack long and you can put certain glue on them for a little more wear. These were $9.00 each. But keep in mind I had them sent up to Montreal where I live from the US. They are usually around $5.00 each in the US.

All these trays are 22 X 11 X 2 inches deep.

Molly -

Nancy is absolutely correct. The best Permanest trays price I found in the Park Seed place - and ordered 10 from them. You can buy a sheet of the eggcrate plastic in Home Depot light fixture isle for support of your pots so you can either wick them through the holes in it or put a piece of an acrilic throw for matting.

If you buying these cheap black trays - you need to check all corners in the bottom to avoid the defective ones. If they are skinny in a corners from the molding process - they will not last. Pick the good ones.

Good Luck
