Cottage gardening and Georgia Gardener. Next to the winter sowing forum, the Cottage Gardening forum is my favorite - so is Junk Gardening. People are so nice on those forums, just about as nice as they are here. And lots of people winter sow on both.

I stay here all year too. Next comes spring sowing, summer sowing and then the beginning of seed harvesting. Next, I'm sending out seed and then it's time again to winter sow.

I'm here all year too. This is definitely the nicest, friendliest one, and I feel like I have friends here.

I also go to soil and composting regularly, occasionally cottage forum, butterfly, name that plant, annuals, or perennials.

Well, my other favorite forum is the Rocky Mountain Gardening forum, because it addresses gardening issues that are unique to our area. It was also the first GW forum I stumbled upon, and the friendliest forum, other than this one, of course.

I use the Perennial, and Vegetable forums, when I have specific questions about those things, but honestly, most all of my questions are answered just as well on my two favorite forums : )

This year was my first to harvest any of my own seeds, but I imagine as I get more experienced, I will spend more time at the exchange forums.

Greengardener, you're thinking that WSing is "done" after the spring comes and we're ready to plant out, but this forum just keeps going showing off "baby sprout" pictures,or sometimes a " I thought I planted white daisys but this thing is blooming purple, what is it?" questions, then garden beds full of blooms (with subsequent pleas for "save me some seed from that one!", then advise on collecting seed from those blooms and also commercial sites that are having seed specials or great ideas about containers for NEXT year, etc, etc - REALLY, we never run out of stuff to talk about :)! I take a peek almost every day. People are helpful, sometimes funny and Always kind here.

This fall I discovered the round robin exchanges (under seed exchange) and spent lots of time over there too. It just made sense to me to make large swaps and get a huge variety all at once. Because I had wintersowed, I had many seeds from those plants to swap, so it all comes back to Wintersowing!

I mostly stay in the WS forum all year long :) The people on this forum are by far the nicest. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, and it's fun to show pics of seedlings and the finished product. I'm hoping to show pictures of some perennials I WS'd last year hopefully blooming this year. It's great to read and see what works for others and to learn from more experienced gardeners.

I have popped into seed saving, as there's some good info there, and asked a question or two in the plant disease and herbal forum though.

Oh, I know there are still more facets to Ws than I know right now. I can't wait to take pics of what comes up and their progression through out the season.

Not mention it is going to drive my neighbors nuts when they realize I have all those milk jugs outside in the cold temps and things are growing in it. That will be fun to see the baffled looks!

Like carrie630, I check this forum continually, even though I tend to get swallowed up in "Lurkdom" for long periods of time. (Thank you Karen for pulling me out...)
