My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Some of us are heavy sowers and the result is a containers with so many sprouts you can't see the potting mix. The other result is that when you transplant, you end up putting 'hunks' in the ground vs individual plants. IMHO it's the best way to plant for impact - ie. WOW factor.
Hunk o Seedlings. You take a clump of dirt with seedlings in it and plunk n run. Plunk n Run is when you don't know where to plant because it was so successful, that you stick HOS in any available space, sometimes the neighbor's yard.
Oh Yes, Some times the neighbor's yard.lol. Last spring my neighbor went out of town for a few weeks. I HOS ed all over his gardens. Filled his containers too. He loved it. My neighbor is also my older brother. :)Laura
HOS is great, and plunk & run is fun too (my parents yard should bloom foxgloves this year from my HOS/P&U antics). HOS is also great for kid gardeners.
