What kind of cichlids?

You can take the male away from the female this will be less stress on her. The eggs will hatch in 10-14 days.

its been 17 days and she hasnt let her babie outside her mouth...is something wrong?

She will let the fry out when she feels it is safe.

ok...now that the fry are out....i havent been able to see them. my tank has big river rocks and it seems they have been hiding in them. Should I take the mother out or leave her there...she seems in very good shape and is eating like crazy..im afaid thou that she'll eat th fry...reccommendations??
