To ensure your setup is water tight and functional, a day or two running filtration to check for leaks and problems is wise. (Assuming there's no sand suspended in the water column)

The cloudy water is 2 fold. Initially almost all sandy substrates cloud water. Cycling does as well.

Details on the setup would help out quite a bit. Filtration, pump sizes, lighting, etc.

I realize it's not the answer you're looking for, but it gives us more to work with.

So this is how it's going.
1.it's a 20 gallon saltwater
2.I've started the filtration and the cloudiness due to the live sand has lessened.
3..I added live sand after adding saltwater into the aquarium
3.should I clean the 2 biological sponge filiters....

Have you done any reading on the "nitrogen cycle" ?? Takes around
4/6 weeks for it to stabilize. Are you testing??
