Yes, they breed the same as regular Zebras. The male fertilizes the eggs as they are released. The eggs are nonadhesive and drop down. Add one or two males. As the parents will eat the eggs, you can try spawning them over thick plants or course gravel or even marbles( In the latter two cases, the eggs will fall between the "cracks"). Remove the parents after spawning.

I think I might have missed the opportune time to put the males in the aquarium with her. When I came home from work her belly was much smaller. I put the males in and she seemed to have been guarding her hiding place. She likes it under a airplane that is lying on its side. Don't know when they will start over again but today I will add the marbles. What we have in the bottom is a filter that covers the entire bottom and also a sponge filter. Not sure of the set up.
