I like Heteranthera zosterifolia. You have to keep it down till it takes off. I just ordered 3 bunches of it. I had a die off in my aquarium and am just getting around to planting heavly again. Here is a link at the bottom.

How big is your tank and how many wpg do you have?

Glosso requires higher light (3 wpg+) to keep it growing horizontally. In lower light, it might still survive, but it will get taller.

The Marsilea Minuta grows very similarly to the glosso, but requires much less maintanence and light.

i have no idea to be honest. my current tank is only 8 gallons and has a single flourescent. i grow anubis, java moss, some lilies and a few unknowns without much difficulty. the Marsilea Minuta looks like my best option.

i want to start a new larger planted show tank Amono style with the ground completely covered and some rock outcroppings. i only need a little as i planned to grow it outdoors in the pond over the summer to have enough to plant the new aquarium in the fall.

does anybody have any Marsilea Minuta or micro sword to trade or send me for postage�"just need a little to get started. the LFS don't carry either.

i have hardy white water lilly, duckweed, frogbit, water celery, penny wort, anubis nana, water cress and rams horn snails as well as many garden seeds and fig trees.

i would be very grateful.
