Stock was my first to germinate and bloom last year. Sow away. Nicotiana is fairly hardy and can be sown now too. I already have sprouts.

Remember that instructions on seed packs refer to sowing seeds indoors under lights. Wintersowing is different. Don't get too hung up on those instructions because it's not necessary.
