Echinacea comments or recommendations

I don't know what was wrong with the dirt at my old house, but I could grow beautiful roses and daylilies, but just about every other perennial or annual I planted died. Well I'm in a new house with new dirt now and I'm drooling over all the different varieties of echinacea. My yard is small, so I'm trying to keep my list short, but it's just so hard. Here's the ones that have caught my attention so far, so I'd love to hear if they're good choices or if there's something better. Also, I'm trying to avoid the taller ones.

Amazing Dream

Pink Double Delight

Secret Passion

Hot Papaya

Daydream

Fragrant Angel

As you can tell, I'm drawn to pink. I'm planning to put some small red Razzle Dazzle crepe myrtles in my front yard and I had thought of mixing in a couple of Stella D'Oro daylilies for a pop of yellow, but then I saw Daydream and thought that might be good for the yellow.
