I had several of these Taccarum weddellianum in my university greenhouse as a donation from another university but most have not survived. I have two left from the original 6 we were given and I have tried putting them in different temperatures, less/more water, distilled vs tap water but to no avail. There is suprisingly little literature on them, all i know is that they are from the Araceae family and are native to Brazil. Has anyone had experience with this genus and would have any advice? Could it have something to do with the soil?
