Well the literature that I remember them in also had x-ray glasses for sale. Not to mention the troubles that Cartman had with them on South Park! Seriously though, I think that they might be referring to Triops! There are several different ones and they do have a longer seasonal lifespan. They are much larger as well. I grew my own brine shrimp about 20+ years ago. I used a 25 gallon spare tank with crushed coral and it did really well for me. I have cow ponds with Daphnea, etc and let nature do most of the work now. Scott
