Hi.

I have 'wild' calla lily's growing in the yard and bought some colored ones last year and this year. I am somewhat surprised by Amer. meadows descriptions that say Calla's bloom only from mid-summer until frost. Also, that they require full sun.

Unless I have magical bulbs, my wild ones are presently blooming and have tended to bloom almost year round. And some are in the darkest sections of the yard and get ZERO sun.

Is this because I live in San Francisco and the weather is so mild? I bought the colored ones because I love near year round color in my plants (just not white!) and wonder if the ones I bought are NOT going to bloom in Spring and fall?
