A rope fish can get 2 feet, the Albino frog is a clawed frog, these really do better in a species tank, Clawed frogs are very aggressive and will eat just about anything-get rid of the rope, as these are wild caught, get far to large for your setup and keep the frog in the 30 gallon without any other animals, expect maybe another clawed frog of similar size- they can grow 7 inches, thats as big as an adults hand.

In some states clawed frogs are banned because people let them lose and because they eat whatever they can get they are wrecking havic on our native wildlife.

Thank you for your response. I didn't know the info you shared about the animals I have. The rope fish is gone...not by choice. He got into the new pump and was killed...makes me a little sad because I liked him and he was helping me with my fear of snakes. The frog we've had for over a year and he doesn't seem to be getting any bigger so maybe he's a different type. He isn't agressive towards any of my other fish so I guess it's a mute point now. I will not be turning him loose so we will be safe from him. Thanks again!

I would guess that your frog is a dwarf, so may get no larger and if it hasn't displayed aggression toward it's tankmates, it should be safe enough, but I would also guess that the rope fish was taking too much of the food, so by climbing atop it, the frog was simply trying steal food, not attack the fish.

If you want to get over fear of snakes, many zoos and herp societies have programs that teach about them and also help those with your fears, which is good, because while dangerous snakes must be respected for what they are and either avoided or treated with great care and only by experts, most all are really both harmless and quite beautiful creatures, so you would gain much by learning to appreciate them.
