I have 1 male (he's very mild mannered) and 2 female bettas in a 10 gallon tank w 2 dwarf platies and 5 ghost shrimp. I didn't think they'd ever mate, but they are! The female's colors became much more vibrant. The male is collecting the eggs, but he has no bubble nest. Is it possible he's a mouth brooder, or is he just eating the eggs?
