Well, it does not sound good, but check the tuber....if it has rot you are in trouble. They should do well in your environment, but the question is how much water were they given, what were they potted in, how much sun, etc. For your conditions I have no idea what is best, but perhaps others in more tropical locals can help with that sort of thing. I assume before you tried Am. titanum you had grown many other species so that you were familiar with the requirements of this genus in general?? Wish I could be of more help, but my zone 6a and your zone 11 are just too different. Best of luck :o) Dan

Thanks Dan for your help. Forgot to mention that the one with the rotten petiole was because of mechanical damage, and the tuber still seems intact and with some (3-4) growing points, and wonder if any of these in someones experience may develop. They all are in a good draining media growing and have being moderately irrigated.

The clorotich one I´m pretty uncertain why is that way beign so little. These are may Amorphophallus ever by the way. ;) I tend to give most plants the special care (shade, misters and in here would be lots of water )and with amorphophallus titanum read they need good draining media and that´s it. Besides there´s lots of good people around who share their experiences and if not will be asking a lot, so thanks for wishing me luck, will need it. :)
