There may be a naming issue with the azalea because the only 'Captivation' Fred Galle (1987) lists is a Glenn Dale Hybrid described as having flowers "between deep pink and yellowish pink, blotch purplish red, base of tube nearly white, hose-in-hose, 1 3/4-2" across, 2 to 4 in head, early".

In the above picture yours looks to have no yellowishness, fading toward the base, or doubling up of the flowers.

Must have been mislabled when I bought it. Hate it when that happens! I have a hard time keeping things straight without that problem.
