calla bulbs

Last year, I grew some pink callas in pots. I saved the bulbs in my garage, where the winter temps were above freezing, but still cold. I was wondering, should I bother to plant them this year, or did I store them too cool? I was in a rush with all the fall bulbs I had to plant, so I basically just dug them out of the soil, and threw them in an empty pot, not storing them in soil, peat, newspaper or anything. Now, of course, I wish I had taken the time to research the best way to store them. So, should I bother with them, or just buy new?
