Hi, I was hoping someone can help me. My Dad has been growing Alocasias in his yard for 2 years without a problem.

One week ago he has noticed the leaves on the plant have been yellowing a lot quicker than normal. My question is why this would be happening all of a sudden. I forgot to add he lives in Sarasota, Florida so the weather should not be an issue.
